Boxford 125, 160, 240 TCL and many milling machines are being decommissioned due to them being designed to run off a BBC Micro.  BBC Micro’s and the machines electronics are out of date and the software to control these machines are hard to obtain and they are not versatile.  Updating these machines and using the software we recommend will not just make them useful again but make them capable of small production work.

We can provide a conversion/update service for Boxford 125, 160 and 240 TCL CNC machines. 

 

A professional conversion/retrofit by us takes approximately 1 month due to our workload.  We provide a 1 Year guarantee on the installation.  We have designed the control system to operate from Mach 3.  Mach 3 is Windows based so a standard inexpensive PC can be used to operate a cnc machine.  The software’s parameters can be password protected so students cannot alter the calibration of the machine.  The quoted price includes the installation, wiring (shielded cable etc), Mach 3 configuration/calibration and miscellaneous ancillaries.
